"I need feminism because… Men don’t feel obliged to use hot wax on their pubic hair.”
Firstly, a lot of males do feel obliged to wax, just not nearly as much as females seem to. Some people wax, some people don’t. The question should really be: why does anyone feel obliged to wax?
I’m going to put this issue down to two things: too much sex and porn in society.  If you want the right to watch porn and have sex with as many people as you like, you are simply going to have to deal with the expectations people carry from their own experiences from sex and porn. Just one of those expectations is… brazilians!
Now I don’t know what became popular first… waxing in porn or waxing in private. If waxing became popular in porn first, then it is safe to assume that people saw it and then expected it of their partners, which then validated the use of waxing in the porn industry so it continued to use it, and people continued to be pressured by it. It is a bit of a vicious circle. The same goes for if waxing becoming popular in private first. Porn would have caught a hold of the trend and just stared re-emphasizing what it thought people liked… and the circle continues. I’m not saying that porn is wrong, watching it is a personal preference, but it comes with consequences.
As for sex, when you sleep around with enough people, you are going to pick up personal preferences to how you like things done. There was a time when sex was saved for marriage, and society actually shunned and judged those who didn’t wait. Was that really such a bad thing? People often didn’t go into a sexual relationship with their husband/wife with experiences from other sexual relationships. Everything that happened was new, exciting, and full of pubic hair. It was normal. Pubic hair still is normal, but the times have changed and people’s expectations have changed. I’m not saying that sleeping around is wrong, your body your choice, I’m just saying it comes with consequences.
It is not mens fault for not being affected by peer pressure as much as women are. Do you like watching porn and having sex, like most people do? Then deal with the consequences. It is everyone’s fault.

(If you like waxing down there… good for you! I’m not demonizing your actions here, I’m explaining why some people feel pressured to do it. If you do it for yourself and enjoy it then you obviously don’t fit into that category. This is just an open opinion, so read it with an open mind.)
